I really enjoy Clink Smith videos, and make all new shooters watch his “4 gun safety rules” before I bring them on range trips.

But these recent videos are bursting with short, sweet, and all over the map pearls of wisdom...and they are excellent!

first vid begins around 3 minute break mark.

    Enjoy

I just wasted ten minutes of my life that I'll never get back, listening to a guy who likes to hear himself talk. Literally the only worthwhile point he had was about the M1 Carbine.

Clint is a great guy, superb instructor and has a great sense of humor. Pity there are those who cannot appreciate his accumulated wisdom and humor.

He’s got some wisdom in him but I find him abrasive, in a cheesy kinda way. Little over the top for me.
Edit: full disclosure I didn’t watch the videos posted here. Just base my opinion on things I’ve seen in the past.

Clint is old school like me.
I don't care if you like him or not, he speaks the truth.
    The take away is:
Every gun is loaded whether it is or not until YOU check it.
    And
Keep you finger OFF the trigger.
Be aware of your backstop and Beyond
Don't point it anything you are not ready to destroy.
    Plain, simple, advice.
Your choice to follow or ignore.

What I like the most about Clint Smith is his consistency and ability to cut through the BS. You don't have to agree with everything he says, but his opinions are genuine and based on experience or just his black and white perspective.

    BikerDoc,

Hope you checked out the second and third video's I posted...if you don't want to watch the longish intro, go out to about 3:00 minute point to get right to pure Clint and his take on all kinds of stuff...

MANY years ago when I first read one of his articles I thought, "This guy is a lousy writer." But over the years the content of his writing far outweighed any literary deficiencies.
    Note my signature line.

I was wishing he would put his hands in his pockets. Why do people have to constantly wave their hands around when talking? Those quote signs are the worst of all. Good message, poor presentation to me.

Clint is intentionally, aggressively abrasive, because he's in the business of slapping people out of their paradigm, and causing them to take a fresh look at something they know they already know everything about.

The abrasion is a pedagogical technique, not an accident. He ain't your buddy; he's more like your Drill Instructor.

Some people have to move their hands when they talk. My dad used to... calm... my mom when she was wound up by holding her hands; she can't talk if she can't move her hands; the two are somehow interconnected for her. Still works to this day.

Any discussion of the content? Good thing we don't have smell-o-vision, or you guys would be discussing his cologne.
