Sorry thought they were ready to ship. They have been talking about the Evolution for what seems like a long time.

This is actually an old thread but to up date this thread I now have the 16" and 18" uppers and could not be happier! Great fit and finish and a blast to shoot. Mounted the uppers on the Plumcrazy lowers and the balance and weight make the rifles a pleasure for even the weaker individuals to shoot.

I have a CMMG 16" Sierra .22 upper. Between myself and two sons we put 5,000 rounds through it over the past year. It is accurate, reliable, fun and cheap to shoot.

I put 550 bulk through each of mine today. I was surprised that the federal bulk is so accurate. One of the uppers has the Sparc red dot and is 16" the other has the Hi-lux 30mm red dot and is 18". The 16" has the chrome bolt and forward assist which I doubt anyone would need. They both are very nice and are now mounted on the Plumcrazy lowers. Nice lite build.

I was surprised that the federal bulk is so accurate.

That is what mine likes the best also. I picked up 10.5K rounds of it last Black Friday for $0.027/round. We just finished the last box over labor day weekend. I find the federal bulk is the best cost vs accuracy in all six of my .22's.

It had been so long since I shot .22 I picked up a GSG-5 which works but really not my cup of tea (reminds me of an expensive airsoft without the quality) . So I went ahead and got the CMMG uppers when I realized for much of my plinking and general messing about they are hard to beat IMO. The 1750fps Aquila was hitting almost 2.5" lower than the federal at 27 yards?? Weird.
