So are CMMG Bargain Bin rifles the real deal for the price you pay for them? Anyone who has purchased one of these rifles...how long does shipping take and just jot down any other notes or comments you might have. Thanks.

Mine came in about 3 days after I ordered it.

Great little rifle for the money (mine is built on a DPMS lower).

I used it as the base to build on.

Do you know if I can get it transferred through say maybe like a store such as Dick's Sporting Goods or Big 5 or Sports Authority? Or do I need a special FFL licensed person or store to do it? And how much do the transfer fees and registration fees and etc cost?

You'll need to contact a local gun shop and ask if they do transfers. Any store or person with an FFL can do it. Many do, and most charge in the neighborhood of $25-50 for the service.

I ordered mine on a thursday, and I got it on the next tuesday. I mine was $648 delivered w/shipping and $25 hand picked included--

I am happy as heck with mine---

I'm not sure what's legal and what isn't in CA, but I do know that FFLs there charge more like $50 for transfers because the state charges them to do a background check.

I doubt they are CA compliant, but I'm sure they would make you a CA compliant rifle if you asked. Wouldn't be Bargain Bin $$$ though. I had one, it was great, never malfunctioned, shot well, CMMG lower, wish I still had it.
