CMP Garand

I live in the PRK (California) and I am contemplating ordering an M1 Garand from CMP. Can they ship it to my door since they do the NICS check already or do I have to have it transferred through an FFL or C&R?

I live in the PRK too, and the CMP had Fedex deliver the M1 right to my door. It even came with a triggerlock!

Good thing, too! That rifle might be dangerous without one.
