A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll of adult Americans in June 2008 -- the month the Washington ruling was issued -- found 67 percent of those surveyed thought the Second Amendment gave individuals the right to own guns. Thirty-three percent said it only provided citizens the right to form a militia. The poll had a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
in the article they came clean and said we won with a 67% guess they ran it a little late

No 51% 71216
Yes 49% 67160
Total votes: 138376

Did they take the poll off the front/home page and moved it to the bottom of the Justice page because they weren't getting the poll results they thought?

I voted.

no 51% 71216
yes 49% 67160

total 138376

I'm wondering if they are toying with the results since its not even updating.

BDS,I highly suspect that's why they removed it. Most media oulets are extemely biased when it comes to their gun control agenda. MSNBC ran an anti gun special a few weeks ago called "Dark Heart Iron Hand". Towards the end they told the story of the Luby's Cafeteria shooting many years ago in TX. They interviewed many people who were in Luby's on that horrible day but conveniently left out any mention of Susanna Hupp whatsoever(or the fact that several others there that day also left their guns behind in their vehicles to avoid breaking laws). Anywho, I voted to further ruin the results they were thinking they'd get.

And since when did children in bars become a legitimate issue?

I like the current trend in vote results, but I LOVE sticking CNN's nose in it!!

Now, we wait on the supreme court justices to carry out the wishes of the founding fathers. I really do hope they realize the history in the making ... The hard fought freedom our forefathers sacrificed so much to attain, shall not be infringed...

Godspeed.

Poll Q reads "will Osama Bin Laden ever be found"

then it rease "Is California properly following the terms of Megan's Law? "

apparently CNN didn't like the results

????

That's the exact same thought I had shipmate..... ;)

I dont think that polls on news sites can be trusted anymore. There are to many programs designed to get around the way that the data is recorded, i.e. only letting someone vote twice. believe me this is not a hard obstacle to over come. Ive seen polls pulled because individuals attempting to skew results in the favor of the opposition attacked the site.

This one certainly can't be trusted, no matter which way it would have ended.

FYI, most sites that have polls like this change them regularly (except for that godforsaken USA Today poll). 24 hours from now, it will likely be a different poll.
