Just curious, why is that?

I voted.

It obscures where our voting traffic is coming from. For example, when viewing stats for my sites, I can see what domains visitors are coming to my site from, like google.com. If we copy/paste, the CNN folks don't see several hundred people come from THR, vote on the poll, and leave.

And how many of you wrote a letter to your Congressperson in the last week?

Hitting a CNN poll is just a way to expend your political energy without doing anything, while making yourself feel better.

Did my bit - we are in the lead.

And by the way - I do not care if the can trace the link back to THR (I see no need to copy/paste the link!!) . . I am a proud gun owner . . I am a proud THR member . . I have nothing to hide!!!:neener:

braun, I wrote a letter this morning (to a Senator, but still)...more people should though.

Gee, I guess your right, as usual:rolleyes:. I should of just not even bothered to vote, then CNN (who will be reporting based on what their viewer's want to see) could smear gun owner's with even more audacity believing the people are behind them. They might be a little more hesitant to report anti-gun agenda's if they thought viewer's wouldn't watch their crap.

You tell me what's more effective: writing letter's that get thrown in the garbage when your rep is done reading it ( if he is actually the one reading it ) or silencing the media who will spew their gun hatred to ten's of million's of viewer's?

I don't disagree you should write letter's to your congressmen, but don't bash on people for trying to do something, anything, even if you do consider it a waste of time. Everything combined is what will make the ultimate difference.

the problem

Why does the popular "gun control" position seem to be obesessed with LEGISLATING human behavior, which cannot be LEGISLATED?

We threaten to deprive the law abiding citizens of the right to self defense, and the lawless won't acknowledge the laws anyway.

The lawful aren't committing gun crimes; the lawless are. Being lawless, they will obtain weapons without legal means anyway. This is nuts.:what:

[ OH? WHAT? You knew that already? Well...why dyncha say so? ]:what::rolleyes:
