I have been thinking about getting some sort of CO2 pellet pistol, preferably with a magazine, not a single shot, though that isn't set in stone.

I would be using this for some plinking, light target shooting, mostly for when I want to shoot without going to a range. I might eventually use it for pests, but that's not very likely. My noisy motorcycle seem to scare away most things.:p And for really casual goofing off, I have the ubiquitous cheap spring airsoft pistol that works great for shooting indoors.

Adjustable sights are definitely a plus, though I'm not sure how available they are on ~$100 air guns.

Up here at the local WalMart, they sell Crosman, which leads me to the two I have been thinking about, the Crosman T4, and the Crosman 2240 series (through their "custom shop"). I like the 2240 custom build, because I can get some good sights ( either LPA mim sight or the red dot ), but that still runs a bit more expensive than the T4.

Thoughts?

I have a Crosman C11 co2 bb gun its modeled after the Beretta storm its been a fun back yard shooter for tin cans and paper, shoots about 450 fps cost was around $50 you wont get much more power out of these guns even if you spend more they just don't make them to strong. Crosman makes a pump/single shot ,forget the model if fps is what you want. Higher quality copy's from Smith, Beretta and i think i saw a colt too are avalible to the public. Have fun and don't shoot an eye out.:D
