anybody have experience with a cobra patriot 45? are they any good? accurate, reliable?

thanks for any info.

There was a pretty good review in one of the gun magazines last month. Combat handguns I think it was. I don't have any personal experience, but the guy who wrote the article seemed to like it, whatever its worth. It should also be noted that i've never seen a negative review in a gun magazine though:)

Yes. There info says only FMJ but I know a guy who uses Hydra shocks in his. It also says no +P but I think the design is robust enough to use it at least on a limited basis,
I used to own one but sold it. Nother wrong with it. I just get bored with and need to get new stuff to try.
A lot of .45 for the Money IMHO.

what's the trigger pull like? seem's like they would be nifty little gun's maybe a good tackle-box truck gun. don't they take 1911 mag's??

I had one for a while, but got rid of it. It just wouldn't extract. Even sent it to the factory and they sent it back - still wouldnt extract. Will never buy one again. But I loved the "recoil" on it, I must say. Fun to shoot, when one is not busy cleaning the FTEs... :)

I own one, and it is decently accurate for a DAO. Recoil is mild for such a small, light .45. Only problem I had it seems to only like 230gr ammo. I tried a couple of 185 loads and neither would extract properly.
