Hi folks, I recently received my premium notice along with a letter stating that Collectibles insurance Services (www.collectinsure.com) is changing underwriters. I do not know the old one, but the new one is Lloyd's of London. More importantly, the new policy enclosed had a significant change.
The old policy states, "Covered Property does not include... Guns that are primarily used, fired or discharged for sports, hobby, self protection or similar purposes."
The new policy states, "Covered Property does not include... Guns that are primarily used for self protection."
Obviously, all guns used primarily for sporting/recreational activities (or any other legal use other than self protection) are now covered.
