Colored frame for the LCP

I've exhausted my patience!! I saw a U-tube vid on how to change the grip frame on my LCP. There are some other unique styled/colored frames out there I'd rather have than just coal black. Where to buy them is my problem! It's the only Tactical Tupperware gun I own and I guess I'm just spoiled being able to change the grips, etc., on my other carry pieces. (It's in my collection only so I can carry one style ammo when I travel w/my PPK/S and my wife who carries the LCP.)

After countless I-net searches I finally just wrote Ruger. Why not get it from the source! Other guys have one gun with multiple frames and I was certain they didn't buy an additional LCP just for the grip frame.... or did they? Here's what Ruger said:

The item that you are looking for is a factory fit item, I am sorry I cannot sell the item. This grip frame was a distributor exclusive and is for replacement only on models that came with it. If you have this frame and need it replaced we can see about getting the firearm into service. Please let me know if this is the case and I will start an RMA for you.

Well, at least they were polite. Any ideas where I can buy a different grip frame for the LCP??

Yes Barry.... I posted it on the wrong board. Hopefully the powers over the High Road will move it for me. Double checked b4 I posted.... not even sure how I mismanaged that!
