Sometimes they will have a gem lever gun just in the center round racks, and 1911 collection that is decent. You KNOW I would have bought that Colt if I wondered in there. Glad you got it first!

Only a couple years ago $600 seemed high.
Yep,

I have one that appears to be unfired. A couple of years ago, I carried it around a couple of guns shows and couldn't even get an offer when I priced it at $700-$750. I am glad I stuck it in the back of my safe and more or less forgot about it....I do have a pair of polished shooters, too. I bought the 6" new in 1990 for $335. The 4" used cost me $900 about three years ago. I think it was about $200 buck too high at the time, but polished guns are rare and command a premium over matte.

Yes, you are exactly right. I scan that rack each time I'm there, also the first one on the left as you walk in, all 22 rifles. I really want to add a pump 22 to the safe. Show up there on any weekday around 10:30, its where many WWII era folks prowl for nice old rifles. I love that place, it smells so good.

That's great shooting CPE, and two very nice looking Colts, thanks for sharing.k

Thanks. They are great guns. The 6" has had 25k+ rounds put thru it. It is still tight as new and one of my most accurate revolvers.
