Colt 6920: what other uppers will fit?

I have a Colt 6920 that's asking for a varmint upper. What needs to be done to my receiver so it will accept clone-format (DPMS, Bushy, RRA, etc.) uppers?

My advice would be to get a normal lower so that you can fit the upper of your choice.

you don't have to do anything to yours but buy the upper and slap it on. if its for long range shooting you may want a nicer trigger but that's it.

I thought Colt's had different size pins that hold the two lowers together?
