Snagged this from CDNN some years ago, without really understanding its provenance.
I like iron sights, and this carbine offers a rifle length sight radius, and rifle handguards. Which means the sights are pushed out almost to the flashider on the 16" heavy barrel ,1:9 twist.
Got it for its 'dissipator' look.
Everything is A2; sights, fixed buttstock, pistol grip.
The rest of the story; Colt made a run of these for CHPs, to fit the shotgun racks in their cruisers.
They were sold off when the Cali cops moved on to other things, and there will be no more.
Mine has some handling nicks, but is otherwise in great shape.
Anyway, I might want to part with it. Any educated guess on what it might be worth?
Thanks in advance.
