Hello all:
My LGS has a Colt Custom Competition .45 in stock and it looks like a mighty fine 1911. Colt describes it as being “hand fit in the Custom Shop.” It’s about twice the price of the standard competition government model but less than other “hand fit” examples from Les Baer, Ed Brown and others. Here’s a link to it on Colt’s site:
Does anyone have one of these? If so, what’re your thoughts? I’ve been obsessed with revolvers lately but have had a soft spot for 1911s for 35 years; thinking about getting a new one for fun.
Thanks!
