Hello all.

I'm in the market for a metal trigger, Guide rod and spare SS mags. Up to 5 please....If anyone has spares they wish to sell I need a couple of each on the triggers and guide rods. A spare ejector would be greatly appreciated as well....

I'm easily reached at [email protected]

Thanks, Darrell

I seem to recall that a member here, HisSoldier, used to make metal triggers for the Colt Government and Mustang models. You might want to PM him to see if he currently has any. I would probably try Midway and Numrich Gun Parts (gunpartscorp.com), for the other items that you're looking for.

I have an extra aluminum trigger for a Mustang. I believe that it will fit a Colt 380 gov. also. If I am wrong someone please correct me. If interested send me a PM

At one time, Cylinder & Slide was servicing these guns with parts similar to those of Scott & MacDougal.

Anyone know how to get a hold of the guy in Eldridge box?? SD that makes the trigger pictured above?? I want the full length guide rod kit as well. Will need some help or advice on acquiring the Brownells CM-455 spring kit as well. Their out and with my luck the darn thing will never come back in stock. I wanna shoot this gun so bad but won't till I get her upgraded to my likings first.

Thanks all so much for the help. i love this weapon so far. Shes a Gov't model in SS. Never been fired and in perfect condition. less the crappy plastic parts...lol

Shame I 9we) have to put an extra 300.00 into it to be a shooter. Yall been there so I guess I'll just buck it up and not complain too much. I am a Colt fan!

You know those "crappy plastic parts" last a long time.

I have 2,724 rounds down my stock Gov 380 and it runs just fine with no issues.

Thanks Peter,

I just can't get past the fear of the damn thing breaking just when I need it most. This will be a full time CCW piece. I can always go back to the "Colt cut corners" if I have problems.

Definatly appreciate someone stepping in for Colt though...

Replacing the factory plastic with a metal guide rod?

Go visit the Colt forum.
There are some interesting posts regarding the .380 Mustang/Government Models and the excessive and destructive wear caused by......metal guide rods.

.

I put the metal guide rod in my Mustang and went from a reliable pistol to unreliable I changed back Both of mine from early 90 's and they still work find for age. They get carry time . Plastic and all Wolff has springs
If unfired , like new shoot it. It won't break. Lots of plastic used these days with out breakage.
