Highstrung, you'd better be on that pistol like a duck on a junebug!
If that pistol is in good shape it's worth $500 minimum, and add $100 if it comes with box and papers.

That FI Model D is made by Star and those are nice pistols. Colt more or less copied the lockwork for the Mustang.

The nicest, truest mini-1911s are the llamas pre-1950, but that's worth another topic by itself.

This guy got a carry melt for his 238. I'd already buy one in a heartbeat if I wan't already about to buy something else, but that carry melt looks really nice.

Anyway, IMO the 238 is way ahead of the rest of the .380s -- the Kel-Tec, the LCP, the TCP... none of those really turn me on.

Rex. . . Garcia was the maker of mine. I think Star made the ones after mine? Not quite sure, though.

Anyway, I may look at getting the Sig p238, someday.
