Colt Python instead of an HK P9s 9mm

Not counting SP5/MP5 the only HK pistol I would take over a Python is a P7.

Had one of those too! Never could get use to the whole squeeze-cocker mechanism. It was accurate though with a very nice trigger. Also tried an HK USP in .40 S&W; another not quite my cup-of-tea gun.

Think I finally hit pay dirt though with my VP9. Great ergonomics, trigger, design features, and sights make this gun feel like it was made just for me!

Although they’re wonderfully made I’ve never really warmed up to Pythons, whereas the P9S to me is a cool, unique pistol. I owned a 9mm one previously, but my current one is a .45 Target Model.

I also prefer the VP9. I would buy the Python, then a VP9.

So far in the polls, the overwhelming majority of you vote to get the Colt Python. I'm inclined to now agree as I plan on having 6 semi autos and 6 revolvers, this would balance it out. Also the Python is just plain better looking than the P9S, but everybody knows that. The P9S does seem cool (I kind of wanted it after seeing it in 80s and 90s action films like Robocop and To Live and Die in LA) but the Python is way more iconic.
