What should I expect to pay for a 99% Colt Python,8", wood grips and nickel finish?

Depending on where you are, you will pay from $800.00 to around $1200.00.
Some areas will be more, some less.

Now that the Python has been discontinued, prices are skyrocketing.

About 3 1/2 hrs ago I purchased a colt python 6" barrel that has a satin nickle finish (not factory origninal) seems to be an older model (I need to try and find out from the serial #) in good condition (excellent trigger and action compared to my Dan Wesson & Taurus) for $750.

Oh, gips are not colt, no box, paperwork or anything else.
This has a re-finish so that might lower the price and it is in California which should increase the price because the only way to buy one here (Legal way) is person to person face to face or consignment at a store. Thay cannot be mailed even within the state to an FFL!

8" tube Nickel Python with factory correct grips/stocks would range from $1200-$1500 at todays current pricing.

Is it a target .38 or a .357 Magnum ?

Don't tell people in the southeastern US about the Auction sites, 'cuz you can still get some nice deals there it looks like.
Because we can't give the 8 inchers away around here. :D
