noted someone asked if $200 was reasonable for a 2d gen 45 Colt SAA cylinder ???
I have a 2d gen Colt SAA in 45 ACP. It appears to be still in the white and has the Colt logo imprint on rear of cylinder. Might I expect to get $200
mainly since it is the ACP cylinder. No move as yet because I expect to couple my 1st gen Colt 45 SAA barrel in 7 1/2 inch to go with the cylinder.
The barrel is off my 1898 Colt SAA. Have a pic of cylinder if anyone wishes to give an opinion. [email protected]

Maybe I misunderstand, but I suggest not firing .45 ACP FMJ bullets through an 1898 barrel. That old soft steel will not take many jacketed bullets.

the 2d gen ACP cylinder is not for my 1898 SAA. My 1898 has a 45LC cylinder. I'm merely changing barrels. Installing 2d gen barrel and removing my 1st gen barrel. As to the ACP cylinder it can be used in a 1st gen gun. just have to use lead heads and black powder. I would never fire jacketed bullets from my 1898.

2 gen 45ACP cylinder for Colt SAA

decided to put my 45 ACP cylinder on the for sale board to see it it would fetch $200 ??
