Mine is a P9. I wanted a K9, but had the money for the LNIB P9. I had a PM9 but hated the short grip.

I would like an EMP, since the 1911 is my preferred platform, but there's quite a bit of price difference between it and the Kahr, so I settled for a DAO gun about the same size.

Glock 19. You can shoot it all day long every day. You'll wear out before it does. I hate the way Glocks look - like chunks of wood spray painted black. But as I see them as tools (I carry a Glock 21 for duty), I want a tool that does the best job and won't break. For me, Glocks are the Snap-on tools of the gun world.

Glocks are not elegant so you don't need to waste time looking at them. They are not eye candy. They are downright boring. Now for elegant appearances I want 1911's or or older Smith&Wesson revolvers or single action Colts.

A K9 or E9 from Kahr would be my choice.
Those things tend to grab you hard once you shoot and handle one.
