I always hear people complaining about how thick a blocky the Glock 26 is.
After looking around at different gun manufacturers I don’t see many 9x19mm pistols that are thinner than the Glock 26 which is 30 mm or 1.18 inches thick.
So far I’ve got
-Rohrbaugh R9
and
-Kahr MK9 and PM9
and
-Kel-Tec’s P-11 and PF-9
Any others?

All the single-stack magazine 9mm autos are thinner than a Glock 26. I put Pearce +1 magazine extensions on my Glock 26 mags, which gives it 11 +1 for the first mag full, and I carry one extra 11-round mag when I'm carrying it concealed. I like the Pearce extension for giving my little finger a place to grip, too; as far as the thickness of the grip goes, I have large hands, so it feels comfortable, to me. Your experience may vary.

I can't seem to find the width of the Taurus 709 anywhere. They don't list it on their website.

Check out that theory, I bet you'll be surprised.
I know I am. Most other 9mm's, even single stacks seem to be thicker than the G26.

My G26 is only slightly thicker than my single-stack Walther P1, but is considerably smaller in length and height.

Sig 250 subcompact.

I like it so much, I sold my 229.

Goes with me EVERYWHERE and fits like a glove in tucked in the back hip wasteband.

13 rounds partner!

My single stack choice is the Kahr P9. It's very thin, small but full sized grip, good accuracy and holds either a 7 or 8 round mag. I'd consider the TP9 as well. It has a longer, less concealable grip, but it is otherwise the same size.

Taurus 709 frame reported at .961" and the slide at .95"

The Taurus Slim 709, and KelTec PF9 are very thin..

and the little Walther PPS is about as slim as it gets.

I found the Walther PPS is 1.04" wide and the Keltec PF9 is only .88 wide..

So, if you want "THIN" go Keltec PF9, and you got it.

slim 9

I had a 3913 and a keltec pf 9. i still have the pf 9. the light weight makes it almost "invisible", but i did get a good trade for the 3913.......

Just picked up a Diamondback DB9, it's only .80 inches. It's not much bigger than my P3AT.

Put 100 rounds through it on Saturday and after a couple of failures to fully return to battery on the first two magazines it ran flawlessly.

Any Browning will be quite a bit thinner. It will be longer and taller, but thinner.

M&P 9c

Yeah its a double stacked mag but I swear it feels smaller than a Glock 36 which is in turn smaller than a 26. :D

I know the CZ P-07 is thinner than a Glock 19. I'm not sure how that transfers to the 26. Plus it holds 16 rounds of ammo and has a great single action trigger.

Now if you are talking strictly sub-compact and micro-compact the P-07 is not for you. It is much closer to a 19 than a 26 in size.
