Compact Size 45 Suppressor Host

Looking for suggestions for a compact size 45 suppressor host. The 5" 1911 that my father in law has is just too awkward and muzzle-heavy when you shoot it with a suppressor. I'm looki g for something a bit shorter. It seems all the factory threaded barrel models do not have suppressor-height sites (which seems really stupid to me). So I'm interested in factory threaded barrel models or models that I can buy a drop -in threaded barrel like Glock. My father in law went thr aftermarket barrel option for his Colt 1911 and it was a nightmare to get fit correctly.

How about the Sig P220 Combat TB which comes with a threaded barrel from the factory?

I saw the Sig, but it doesn't have suppresor-height sights which is a bummer.
