Honestly, I don't even put the regular slide/barrel on anymore. I pretty much always use the competition upper now. But I might put it on and shoot out that snot, then have Taurus replace it.
That's what I'm doing with my older TX22, a Miami made model. It's going strong, and if it breaks...oh well. It's a .22 and I'm not gonna cry if a $300 gun has to go back for repair. The Lakeline RSA is a good product, been using it for quite a while now.
