Compatibility of presses

Just curious, are the Lee and RCBS presses threaded the same? Can I use RCBS dies in a Lee press vice versa?

Yes, almost all the modern presses are threaded 7/8-14, as are the dies.

The only modern exception (that I am aware of ) being the Dillon Square Deal, it uses specially made dies.

Incorrect, Magnum is correct - the Square Deal uses dies unto its own design

Also, i think RCBS markets a press with a larger thread for dies but includes a bushing to bring it down to 7/8-14.

The larger bore is for 50 BMG dies, but i've slept since I have read that.

The Hornady L-n-L and the Lee Challenger Breechlock presses both use a quick-change bushing system, each brand fitting their own press. But both of these bushings use the 7/8-14 thread dies. So, proprietary threads on the outside of the bushing, standard sized on the inside.
