Okay I picked up the RCBS 5-0-5 scale, a Lee powder measure kit, and a Lyman e-zee flow universal adjustable powder trickler. I've only dropped two charges and I'm 1000 times more pleased. I think I still have enough faith in the other scale not to tear apart the bullets I already made (30).


Returned the lee perfect powder measure. No worries

When I was dropping and individually weighing it was ranging between 4.0 and 5.1 gr per throw.

Yikes!

How is the new measure throwing that W-231?

Well I'm just using scoops and a powder trickler to line it up on the balance beam. Much happier. Those huge throws from the perfect powder measure may have just been a fluke, but I couldn't trust it
