Folks I need some suggestions for a concealment holster for my SW99.

I prefer IWB, but will consider others.

I do not care what it is made of. I just want something that conceals the pistol well, is comfortable, and retains the gun with easy access.

I am also limited on funds right now. So, I need something as inexpensive as possible. I do have one of those Uncle Mike's nylon IWB, but would like something a little better.

Thank you.

If being able to reholster is not a top priority (they are made of soft glove leather), I suggest the High Noon Bare Asset or Mr. Softy for $24.95. I like to get a Bare Asset (I prefer its canted carry to the Mr. Softy's vertical) for a new gun to have something until I can get the custom holster made.

The Don Hume H715, a leather clip-on IWB, is $27.60. This is molded to the shape of the gun and has a reinforced mouth for easier reholstering.

I have iwb holsters for a S&W J frame and S&W4513tsw from High Noon. I have one that should be here Monday for a S&W645 belt holster from them also. Good quality and price, but if not a "stocked" model a long lead time. I have been very happy with their products, Jim.

I looked at their website and like the holsters. But, it said that there was a very long wait for the ones not listed as "Stocked" items. The Mr. Soft and Bare Asset are listed as stocked, but only in right hand. I need a left hand holster.

Any other suggestions?

Comp-tac MTAC is around $80, not really inexpensive but well worth the money.

I would suggest really tightening your budget for a month or two and getting a quality belt and holster.

For about $130 you can get the Comp-tac MTAC and a Wilderness Instructor belt.

Just my $.02...

I've been pleased with a couple of FIST IWB holsters I've bought. I have the thin Kydex cantable tuckable now, and really appreciate the ease of setting the cant angle with nothing more than a dime to tighten the screws. I also like the choice of belt connections that FIST offers. When I get some change to spare on another holster, I'm sorely tempted to get the same thing in their hybrid line - ultra thin Kydex holding the gun in a slick, moisture free fixture, but covered in thin leather for elegance, a bit of strength and some silencing of the draw.

It looks like they build for your gun (if it's the same as a "S&W P99".) Left hand is a no-cost option on all their holsters. Be sure to order the low-cost Body Protector option on whatever you pick - it keeps the back of the slide from digging in to your side. I think their prices are pretty reasonable, and delivery has usually been about 2 weeks or less.

I have never found an IWB holster that offers a better value than those made by andy Johnson at www.concealco.com.

For $60 you are getting a holster that is in the quality range of holsters costing $85-$95ish.
Love em. The only IWB's I'll use.

Second the High Noon Bare Asset. It carries my CW40 tight and close. As for the wait, if you order the bare asset, or anything else in black 'glove' leather, they usually have them premade. I got mine in less then 10 days.

The Lone Haranguer already mentioned that you can get the Don Hume IWB H715 for only $27

I recently bought one for my P2000 and I have been very happy with it, also very impressed with the quality since it's cheaper than most holsters.
Here's a picture of mine.

EDIT TO ADD: I see you are left handed. I am as well and when I ordered this one it came in a little less than a week.

Agreed, and the only reason for my not mentioning it was that I felt even $60-ish might exceed the OP's target price range. I have one of his "Canute" IWBs for a S&W M&P compact and would put this work up against any of the more famous makers.
