Congratulations to Mr Camp. I just receive the March/April issue of American Handgunner and see that Mr. Camp has an article in it. It's about a father and son who signed on for a course in making a custom 45. The finished guns look great. More to the point, I don't know if this is his first published article or not, but I would like to see more articles published by him. Having read some of his reports on this forum, I have found them easy to read, very unbiased, with lots of info and written in a style that is honest and not condesending to the reader.
I hope some mag picks him up as a regular. Once again, congratulations!!!

Mr. Camp has a excellent book on the 1911. And one on the hi-power. I think he has a bright future in this area. Dave Sample and his instructors are posters here. The "Rodney Dangerfield" of the Gunsmithing section. Sometimes he gets no respect. Regards

I hope American Handgunner, and other publications, use his work more often. We need more of his style of writing.

Here Here!! Mr. Camp is very knowledgeable and good mannered, an asset to this board and any gun rags lucky enough to publish him.

Good going Steven! I always stop to read Mr. Camps posts when I see them. I have been reading his stuff for a few years online and he has only ever been a class act that is always willing to help others with any questions they may have with firearms. He never gets impatient and never talks down to people that are new to a certain area. He is one of the people that make our sport and hobbie a little more enjoyable.

Way to go. We need more of you and less of some of the other "writers" in these gun rags.

What a nice tribute to a man who goes far out of his way to help so many people so consistently and who is always the gentleman. The tribute is well deserved, Mr. Camp.

I'm glad to know about the American Handgunner article. I'll get a copy and read it. Mr. Camp always has something worthwhile to say and always says it well.
