Conversion barrel conundrums: HELP!

The true test for the accuracy of your conversion barrel, whichever brand you choose, is to go to an outdoor range when nobody else is there. Stand in front of the shooting line and fire one shot straight up. Now try to hit the falling first bullet with your second shot.

Keep trying until you're successful....or just take a fistful of Paxil for that OCD!

Rarebird,

Mebbe "obsessed" is harsher than I intended. When I posted that I'd just came in from a rough double shift at work. Prolly had no business posting that tired.

Your interest in this is way deeper than I like to wade into anything. My personality is that of a rough carpenter. I forget some are intent to enjoy the details of finish carpentry. To each his own.

As to Hickok....I mentioned his shooting because he is so accurate with his Glocks. He, from best I gather, likes his Glocks basically stock. I do too, but in all my time with a Glock I've not noticed any difference in accuracy with a stock barrel or the Lone Wolf conversion. I would say that I shoot 9mm better, but that could be because .40 works on my wrist after a while.

Tinker: I'm tinking like you and Hickok45 about keeping things stock. Really, I'd sooner just get the glock in 9mm than to convert my .40. Though it has been interesting to ready all the comments on it and you're right, I did sorta delve into it pretty far. And btw: Hickok45's glock 27 at 230 yards video is astounding. I really gotta admire that guy. That is one impressive display of shooting a .40 cal. accurately at such distance. Thanks for the come back and best to you as a fellow American with actual callouses on his hand. Rough carpentry, like roofing, is for rugged men. I don't watch much TV but I do like that new tree house building show on Animal Planet.
