Convert 38 cylinder to 9mm

I had a 940 and thought it was heavy but that weight did absorb the snappy recoil. I sold it and found a nice 642, same frame style but in aluminum. At that time S&W still had 940 cylinders in stock. I bought one and took both the 642 and the 940 cylinder to Mark Harmon at Pinnacle High performance to have it fitted together. The aluminum frame is really snappy with 125gr 9mm. It was nothing like a 357 from a 342. Pictures are around here, do a search.

I have a 6.5" Ruger Blackhawk 'Convertible' 357Mag/38Spl or 9mm, you change cylinders to change cartridge. Initial 9mm accuracy was very bad, I've not shot it in 9mm much since then. It's to easy to reload 38Spl & 357Mag.

It's companion rifle also shoots 357Mag/38Spl :).
