Friday night I went over to one of my ladyfriend's house to watch a couple movies with her. She lives out in the country with her grandmother and we had to walk down to her cousin's house so she could talk to her about something, and she carried a big flag pole in case of this dog would harass her. When I was leaving I said something like "Be Sure to Lock Up" and she said "Don't Worry I Got My Flag Pole". Then I said you should have a Remington 870 instead and it lead to an extra hour & a half debate about guns. She had the basic sheep mentality, the gun could go off, her little brother could get ahold of it, if someone did break in then it just happened, and she could not be proficent with a gun. Well I finally convinced her that she was allowing her-self to become a victim, that she could train her self with a gun in no time at all and she is not exercising a right that every American should. So she is going to talk to her father about borrowing one of his shotguns since she can't afford a gun now. I have gave her the invitation to go shooting with me one day and train her in how to safely handle firearms so I can help guide her on her way into our world.

LOL, I could just imagine her shooting that, but I think I'll carry a little single shot .22 rifle and my CZ-75 to start her off with. She did tell me that she did shoot some handguns when she was about 11 and enjoyed it, so I'm just going to add on to that to start with.
