Coolest M14 stock in existence

Does it give the M14 a +4 damage on terrorists? Increase your mana by 12, with a 50% critical hit probability?
No, but it is enchanted with Seeking (ignores concealment and all other miss chances), and adds an extra d10 to damage.

Ha! Posts of the day! :D

Re: the stock - I like it! I just passed the link on to a couple friends...

Are they using that composite radar absorbing stealth aircraft material to build those things with? 'Cause $700 is dang near half the cost of the rifle itself which already came with a nice stock.

The JAE and Sage stocks are cool in practice, since they eliminate having to bed the rifle to the stock, which is a very good thing.

I think they're all gawdawful ugly myself though. Gimme a solid, fat walnut match stock or a McMillan fiberglass and I'm a happy camper. :)

You know what I would like to see? A chasis-based stock for the M14/M1A (like this one, the Sage stock, or the AICS for bolt actions) that is lightweight and generally (or exactly) follows the external lines of the USGI stock. That way you have a rifle that looks like a milspec M14, but that you don't have to screw around with bedding.

Hmm, I'm with a lot of others. I like it, but not $700 like it.

However if I lived in Cali again I would buy as many as I could afford, just so I could put libs into a frothing session.

I would be like: "Oh yes, I have children. Let me show you a picture of my babies"...

Doesn't do much for me.

I love the look of the USGI walnut and birch stocks, but functionality sent me towards the USGI fiberglass stock w/Devcon bedding, and a medium weight NM barrel from the folks near Milwaukee. I'm not worried about the guy sporting the trick stock. I'd be worried about the guy with the Krieger-barreled M14NM who practices a lot. ;)

$700 is a a LOT of money.. I like the look of the sort of PSG-1 pistol grip and high comb, but no way I'd shell out that kind of money and waiting period without handling it first.
