Do any of you have a problem with copper fouling in your revolvers? My magnum revolvers seem to get fouled and Sweets did not seem to cut it. they shoot great still but I see copper streaks in the bore and tried to run patches of Sweets through them but no blue was on the cloth? It works great on rifles so maybe I really do not have a problem?I guess if it aint broke dont fix it.
Thanks

If you're not seeing any blue on your patches with Sweets then there's so little copper to react with that I wouldn't worry about it.

Copper fouling in pistols is not the problem it can be in rifles.
Pistols generate less pressure and copper fouling doesn't build up nearly as bad or cause problems with accuracy.

If Sweet's didn't remove it, it's not copper fouling. Some gun barrels have a coppery looking color in the grooves, but it isn't copper.

Thanks for the help guys.I just wanted to make sure it was ok. It shoots great and I did not know some had a copper look to the grooves.Learned something again as always. That is why I enjoy these forums always learning something new from someone else.
Thanks again
