I have used and still have a bunch of Wolf LP & SP primers. I've noticed the price is pretty much the same as Winchester, CCI, Remington, etc., nowdays.

I bought Wolf's because they were priced right, at least for the plinking I do. I think next time I'll buy the other US brands. Hopefully the supply of primers will continue to improve.

Depends upon region, depends upon distributor, depends upon retailer, depends upon how hard one searches.

At local gun show in January, Wolf was still about $4 per thousand less than the others at $24.95 plus sales tax.

Last show I went to in PA, the Wolf were about $28/1000 and Federal was going for almost $40/1000. Guess which I got.

I recently bought 5000 CCI SP Magnum primers from Powder Valley for $22.50/k, at the time I purchased them Wolf SP Magnum primers were $25.50/k. I've had good luck with Wolf, but unless they are cheaper than other brands, or other brands are not available, I'll go with US made primers every time.

Price drives my decisions and I have used Wolf a lot, They all go bang and are accurate. I would buy US made if the price was close but at 1/3 more the cost wins out.

I have had a hard time even finding wolf LRM primers, apparently they have gained a large fallowing among high power shooters who are choosing them over BR2s these days

Locally, Wolf's are as much as anything else in my area. I paid $36/1000 recently for Wolf's and as of today $38/1000 for CCI. I just buy what i can get. I still have primers on backorder from last July by mail.

Powder has actually come down about 10% locally in the last few months, and brass is cheap! I bought 500 Win .45LC cases Friday for $115. I can't figure how the shop can sell it for a profit at that price compared to online prices.

Here in Washington, Wolf runs around the same prices as everything else, and all typically seem to be around $40/k even now.

Has anyone had problems with Wolf primers? I havenot tried them yet and have been slightly apprehensive after recently hearing a customer at a local gunshop complaining about a very large number of misfires. But he may have been eating fried chicken and handling the primers too!

Due to the shortage of primers and to conserve my stock of Winchester primers, I have been shooting wolf primers since last year with good results. They seem to be a bit tighter in the primer pockets, but no problems in my Lee hand primer.
