I've been wanting a Beretta Cougar in Inox for several years. Whenever I find them, they're always *way* overpriced. I've looked closely at the Stoeger Cougar for a couple of years, but didn't care too much for the finish on it. I've recently notice the two-tone version, and yesterday ran across a listing for a total stainless version. So I went and picked one up this AM at the not-so-loal Cabela's.
Nice little pistol, can't wait to shoot it. I don't care for the stainless sights or the plastic magazine release (or the ambi decocker, for that matter). I think I'm going to grind off the front and rear serrations and stipple this sucker! A few other mods might be in order as well.
The DA trigger pull is surprisingly smooth. So is the final trigger break. All in all, a heck of a gun for $400, if it shoots.
