Yes I like revolvers. I can't help it, but my favourite handgun is still that evil black piece of Austrian plastic:eek:

Texashooter59,

Yeah, suffering "seller's remorse" right now. I'll get over it soon as the GP100's working right.

Let's see if we can name these babies...

Sylvanus, neat pics. Pls correct if wrong and provide -X numbers:

1. M 66 w/4" barrel
2. M 60 w/2"" .38 spl, P&R
3. M 19 w/4", P&R
4. M 17 w/6", P&R

You mentioned your favorite baby is a Glock but please say you had some kind of cushion under these guns when you took the photos, or you'll upset some people!:)

Thanks :)

For the model numbers:

1. 66-1
2. 60 no second number
3. 19-4
4. 17-2

But the 60 is not recessed, only pinned and the 66 does have a recessed cylinder.

Umm...well...not quite...I was very careful though ;)

Let's face it, people love tradition, culture history and an underdog. Revolvers win that argument over semi's any day of the week.

Revolvers have been around the better part of 200 years where semi-auto's have only been around 100 years, only the last 35 of which have been with widespread popularity.

I'm not one to argue the merits of one vs another because I'm a fan of both, but when I own, shoot &/or look at a well made revolver it's a totally different feeling.

In a SHTF situation my first pistol choice would be a high quality semi auto but have no fears with a revolver. One finds it's way into my pocket 70% of the time for concealed carry..

+1.

Just a passing observation, but while the tactical pieces continue to get more advanced, the old classics are enjoying a renaissance.

Guess that means we're going forward and backward at the same time. :) Kinda cool.
