This wasn't a big surprise - as more and more Katrina evacuees return to NO or go elsewhere, our murder rate has plummeted (gee what a coincidence

I have to wonder if the FBI's recent published survey on crime showing an increase was result of more criminals committing crimes - or the fact that Katrina evacuees were dispersed to cities that actually kept accurate records!
Whatever....the CHL classes here in SE Tx are still going full speed with more and more getting their CCW permit. People don't forget that quickly.
