ok i have some 7.62 nato port with crimped primers, what tool do i need to un crimp them? do i have to use the special tool?

A normal decapping pin will remove most crimped primers. You will however, need to chamfer the primer pocket before you will be able to install a new primer in the case.

Use a swager. They are much faster and dont cut any brass off of your brass. I have the dillon super swager but they are $$$$$$. If you are doing thousands of rounds like I do it is the only way to go.

Another option for swaging the primers is the RCBS swaging die. HERE

If you're doing only a few, or tolerate the repetition rather than the steeper cost of admission, it can work well, from all I'm told.
One of the other members here is working through 1000 cases on one, and from what I understood, he was planning to start another 1000 after those were processed!

awsome thanks i was using my .308 win decapping die and actually broke the decapper my guess is the crimps so i have to order the new insert for the die now too

Crimps can be removed easily with a case mouth chamfering tool, inside end, which I've found works as well or better than any of the tools specifically designed for the job. A couple of twists or so will remove the crimp and produce a nice bevel to ease primer seating.

"...broke the decapper..." The pin? That happens. If you have RCBS dies, they'll replace the pins with a phone call. Or you can go buy a package. If you broke the rod, they'll replace that too. No questions aske dother than your mailing address. Mind you, if you broke the rod, the die is down way too far.
When you get that far, remember that you have to reduce the powder charge by 10% due to the slightly thicker cases.
