CT Facing Tougher Laws Than NY

The Coast Guard should have serious issue with flare guns being illegal now. Every boat on the Sound is carrying (maybe even required?)...and if you are passing up the coast on a cruise and stop in for a tank of gas, well, Magellan the Felon.

Preventing crime by creating criminals...I know emotion clouds logic, but this is absurd.

Well, he signed it about 40 minutes ago. I wonder how many people are now criminals that weren't this morning.

I'm already thinking about whether to trade out my M&P9 on something single stack, and avoid having to register mags.

Remington Tactical Rifle Model 7615 is on the list.

That is a PUMP action rifle. You guys got messed up even worse than you are already messed up there as far as gun laws.

Hopefully this is crazy enough to get thrown out in court as unconstitutional.

Although this does not surprise me since Conn is run by mostly Dem lawmakers. Most of the Dems are hard core for gun control with a few R's going along with it too.

That's my guess as well. Road trip to PA, VT, or NH anyone? (he asks, half joking)

I live on the RI border. And I am not joking.

A license to purchase ammo? And now I need one to buy a long arm too?

Moving south is looking even better.

Condolences to those of you in CN

I realize it's a hassle, but if enough people to this the terrorists win. (Well, your local nanny-staters at least)

They'll be back next year asking the neighboring states, or the feds, to close that "loophole". Obviously everybody needs a national AOID (Ammo Owners ID) just to prevent connecticutters (conneticutions? what are you guys anyway) from driving to Wyoming to pick up a brick of .22 lr. We've got to do it for the children!

We're called Nutmeggers. Our politicians have a similar title, minus the "megger."

I actually have a hearing in Maine on Monday, so I'm off to Maine on Sunday, and hope to bring back some stock, without breaking any laws of course.

I don't think I can even buy a rifle/shotgun in Maine and bring it back to CT any more, can i?
