Awright people, listen up.

The CTG. on a Smith & Wesson means CARTRIDGE.
A S&W revolver marked ".38 Special CTG" shoots the .38 Special CARTRIDGE.
That is all. There is no secret meaning or rare and special origin to the gun.

Now- MAKE IT BIG & MAKE IT STICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoot...I had always thought it meant .38 S&W Special "Crimson Trace Grips"

just kidding I immediately knew what CTG meant when I saw it since it came right after the rest of the name :)

 Oh Noooo...you didn't!

You've just released a brainworm upon the world; it'll come back and bite somebody some day (worms that bite? They're probably in Larry's next novel  ) :

"Hey, this revolver says ""CTG" right on the barrel...where are the Crimson Trace Grips??? I Want My Crimson Trace Grips!!!" :cuss: ).
