Go to the Smith and Wesson website at this link to find out what factory refinishing will cost you using Gunsmithing services https://www.smith-wesson.com/customer-service/performance-center-precision-gunsmithing

While refinishing a firearm will typically reduce its value as a collectible a factory refinish doesn't and can actually increase its value. Keep the paperwork on factory refinish with the gun to retain its value. While no one can predict what a common models value will be in the future or if the refinishing cost will later be returned the work at S&W can return a pistol that will be equal to a brand new gun mechanically and in finish.

Are you in another country BJthaBoss? How expensive or difficult is it to buy a handgun there? Are Smith Model 10 revolvers very expensive? If you wanted to color it and had some time on your hands, you could get a jar of Brownells Oxpho blue, polish the gun with 0000 steel wool, warm it with a heat gun and have at it. It will not be a professional job but it will color the gun and depending on your skill with steel wool and your patience you can get a passable coloring of the gun.

Other wise as others have said shoot it as it is.
