Custom 1911 grips help

Hi,

So, I'm trying and trying to find someone who will make me a pair of custom 1911 grips. I have pics of how I would like them to be, pics show wrap-around, but standard full size grips are fine. I'll post pics of the grips I would like, wasn't sure where to post this, also I've tried some sites with no luck...Thanks!

yes they're from the Hitman series game, but I really like them and i think they would look nice on my Springfield GI stainless.

Adding custom stuff to rubber grips will cost a fortune. It's not such a big deal with wood grips(there are black coloured woods, but they won't be wrap around. Exotic wood isn't cheap either though), but you'd have to look into any copyright issues. If that design is a logo of the game. Copyright laws are daft.

Hey guys, wickedgrips can't do it, too many back orders...ah you mentioned about the backlog i see now...and alumagrips can't do the design at that angle...gripsus can do it, but without the checkering, would liquid aluminum fill the design and would cost me $150. That's all I've found so far. If I can't find anything else, I'll just save up for the $150 which will be a bit.

Check ebay and gunbroker. I remember seeing a pair of AMT Hardballer 1911s (Just like used in the "Hitman" series) with grips like you want (Only they had 47 on one side, company logo on the other) and a dual-1911 SOB holster on gunbroker. Price was around $3k IIRC.


But you might be able to find just the grips.

I recently, today, saw two sets of grips with this design in them on ebay, one is MOP in wood, the other is MOP in water buffalo horn. the buffalo horn is black and they are 49.99 buy it now. the wooden ones are 24.99 and are strictly for bid for the next 4 days.
