Built this rifle from a bare receiver for my son over the last year. German 98 receiver, Shilen barrel in .243 WCF. The rifle has two stocks, the blue one is more for him now till he gets older, then he can use the fancy stock. Both were pillar and glass bedded.

Once again,You show just how talented you really are. Excellent rifle!
Your son is a very lucky young man to have a craftsman like yourself for a father. Well done,Sir.

I see that you are getting him off to a good start with a low power scope. It will teach him to sharpen his eyes and awareness.

Beautiful work.

Awesome work! I love that stock shape (especially the schnabel) and the wood. The laminated one is nice too.

Beautiful looking rifles and the craftsmanship is superb! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Wonderful, wonderful... I especially like the laminated stock. Sorry to be ignorant, but what type of walnut is the fancy stock? (Claro, ...) ?

I'm very impressed with your attention to small details. Your craftsmanship is top notch. For many years I've been a big fan of the .243 cartridge for long range antelope shooting.
