Anyone else out there own any custom TC Contender barrels? If so, what calibers and are you satisfied with the performance? I now have my first custom barrel - A Bullberry in 357 Mag "match". It is a 10" straight bull barrel - does not taper like the TC factory 10". Uses the Super 14 style fore-end.

Have not shot it yet! Hopefully it will prove to be highly accurate - I mounted a 7X Burris IER that I used to use on a Super 14 in .223 and was able to shoot sub MOA at 100 yards with that combo.

Will post results after the range session!

Nice barrel and I like the way scope mount is set a little forward. The normal TC .357 chamber is cut too big IMHO. I have a Virgin Valley 15" 22LR match heavy bull that will shoot with most match rifles.

I have been shooting a Contender with a .221 barrel from Bullberry for years and am more than satisfied with it. The only mistake I did was taking off my 7X scope, selling it and putting a 10X on my .221. Just too much magnification on the prairie dog shots,,,sure wish I had my 7X back :(

I have several barrels from Fred Smith at Bullberry, including a 12" bull chambered in .22 LR that usually shoots into 1/2-inch at 100 yards with CCI Standard Velocity. I have been considering getting a 15" .17 HMR Bullberry barrel.

Bullberry makes excellent barrels as does Virgin Valley Gunworks and SSK Industries.
