I have a super 16" 44 mag contender barrel that can be used as either a carbine or pistol barrel. It currently has a TC 2.5x20 pistol scope on it with illuminated crosshairs. Scope is part #9203. Barrel has iron sights as well but rear sight is removed from the housing. I want a smaller caliber barrel and am considering selling this one to fund the other, but i wanted other folks opinions of value before I post the barrel locally.

I don't know about there, but here the 44 Mag barrels are very common. Are you going to keep the scope or let it go too. What caliber are you looking for? I shoot a .221 Fireball as my favorite, a 40 grainer at 2870.

New that combo would be what...$325 without the scope, probably $425 with? I don't know what the demand is, but looking to sell quickly, depending on condition, I would think 65-80% of that.

I was thinking of selling but then considered buying a carbine stock. It would make for a great woods gun in a carbine. Would also be low recoil so would be good for wife and nephew (7) to hunt with should I convince his mom to let him hunt with me.

I have a nice 10 inch 357 mag barrel I would trade for /towards your barrel. You keep the scope....
Barrels are legal and easy to ship....

The question has been answered and we're now drifting into a gray area.
