Custom Stock for M1 Carbines

Does anyone know of a place that sells custom stocks for the M1 carbine? I've got an Underwood and the upper handguard is cracked. I was hoping to find a little more modern looking stock with some better quality wood. Any help on this would be great!

If it's just the upper handguard, replace it with an ultimak rail. Makes the gun a bit more practical. Good stuff.

Choate makes a folder and a fixed stock with a pistol grip. They make very good stuff and have been for years.

Yeah I've seen the Choates and I'm not wanting to go with anything synthetic. I also don't want to replace the front handguard either.

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking too but I've done all kinds of searches on the net and haven't found a single place that would custom make one. Dean's Gun Restoration is the only place I've found. I'll probably just end up going through him.
