Ric.. cool looking revo! I'll bet it's totally transformed your SP. I especially like the high-polish treatment on the trigger and hammer. Looks like Gemini is doing some really cool things with SP's.
Thank you for starting this thread... it has prompted me to get off my butt and do something cool to my stock 3" SP, which doesn't really excite me at the moment, so I decided to send it off to David Clements for:
•hammer bobbing
•charge hole chamfering
•trigger polishing
•action tuning
•slab siding barrel & removing markings
•bead blasting (I find the bead-blasted guns tend to show scuffs, scratches, and dings much more than the standard finish does, but they do look cool when they're in great condition. Unfortunately, it's impossible to "touch-up" a bead-blasted finish oneself when boo-boos occur, as you can so easily do with a standard brush-polished SS finish.)
Personally, I prefer non-ported defense guns, so I will omit that option on my gun.
These photos (source unknown, or I would give credit... I found them on the internet and enhanced them slightly) are illustrative of what David is going to do to the barrel, hammer, and finish on my 3" SP-101... I really love the treatment on the barrel and will probably send my 3" GP-100 for the same work!
