OK...I know alot of people aren't fans of Taurus but I love this gun and its my main carry conceal gun...I have a Taurus 650 in 357. hammerless and the 2" bbl. , I shoot 38. hollow points now because after my first shot on a cylinder of 357. mags it will lock up and the cylinder will not rotate. If I release the cylinder and put it back in it will shoot but once again lock up. I'm not worried about it too much because the 38.'s cycle fine and are more then efficient for stopping power it just bothers me that I got a 357. and can only shoot the 38.....Is this a problem w/ hammerless revolvers or what?

IMO, it shouldn't do that with any factory .357 load. It could be related to any of several problems in its construction and should be returned to Taurus to be addressed and corrected under warranty.

IIWY, I'd contact Taurus USA and speak to a CS rep to arrange having this done.

As for the problem being endemic to "hammerless" revolvers, my S&W 640-1 fires and cycles 100% with all the types of .38 Spl or .357 factory ammo I've ever used in it. Your Taurus should too.

The Taurus revolvers I have shot seem to have somewhat of a propensity towards this problem...I agree with the above; I would check with Taurus...Best of luck!
