Narrowing down my choices between the CZ 2075 RAMI BD alloy frame vs. the SIG 239 SAS G2 SRT. Was at a gunshow today, and was surprised (I guess) to see that the two were only about $75 apart in price.

Which would you opt for and why? My principal use would be CCW when my usual carry items are too large (p229/228/225).

BTW, I'm a fan of both manufacturers. My Sigs include the p220, p225/p6, p226, p228 and p229. In the CZ category, I have a CZ75B, as well as the CZ50, CZ52, CZ70, and CZ82.

I have owned both, and just recently purchaced another CZ 2075 RAMI. I can tell you that they are both wonderful pistols. The RAMI takes up a bit less space in a pack or holster. The P239 is a larger pistol overall, and therefore puts it in a slightly different class than the RAMI. For me there is just something I really like about the little RAMI, it just looks gorgeous. With that being said, the P239 is not bad looking either. In the end just go with what feels better to you. Both are great, utterly reliable, accurate, and you wont regret either purchase.

Boom.

SIG P239 was my first SIG, I now have 6 SIGs. I do have one CZ, it is my daily carry weapon, a CZ PCR. I have only handled the 2075 in a shop, it just felt wrong for me, probably a good pistol, I may never know. Now the PCR has replaced the P239 as my daily beater, the CZ shows wear after just 1 year, the SIG after about 6, looks like new. I am currently looking to replace the PCR with a SIG RCS 1911, love the PCR but the SIG just out shoots it. The P239 should outshoot the RAMI IMO. If you just compare triggers, the SIG would win, sights, SIG again (night sights), fit, finish and feel, SIG, size CZ. Between the 2 there is only one choice... Yours.

I love CZ products. Excellent functionality.

But the P239 is fantastic. One of the most reliable handguns in any of its 3 calibers ever produced.

I like SiG, but the only one that ever worked right for me was a P220 from the rental range. I think the RAMI is an excellent gun, having shot my wifes several times. She loves it. Workes perfectly and shots POA easily.
Odd you had that finish experiance with the PCR, I have some minor slide wear on the sharp edges of my P-01 after 9 years of daily, and I do mean daily carry.m The Glocks at work look far worse. :)
