Just picked up a CZ 452 kzm 2E at my local pawn shop .Love the looks, feel, factory iron sights. I have a lot of old .22s , but none this nice.
I have been looking at these online and I have a question.
What is the difference between my (trainer) and the Lux.I have seen picture of both online and they both look the same to me.
Mine has a great looking hog back stock and sling swivels. I saw a pic of a lux w/o swivels and one with. How can you identify?

I believe the main difference is the military type rear sight on the trainer.

I know for certain the Lux has a walnut stock and the trainer has the beech stock. The Lux is therefore a tad bit lighter. Otherwise, I believe the rifles are identical. There is an "ultra-lux," that is totally different, but I do not believe that is your question. For the detailed particulars, take a trip to rimfirecentral.com in the CZ section. More information there than you could imagine.

What Sako Shooter said about walnut vs. beech stocks, although I'm not sure about the weight issue. When I picked up my Trainer it was after holding it and the Lux in each hand. Since I carry it out in the brush a bunch the beech stock suited me fine. Good rifle, accurate and very 'shootable' for me offhand.

Very nice rifles,I added a YoDave trigger shim for $20 and now my trigger is nearly as nice as the one on my Anschutz.
