Nobody own one of these? All that I want to know is the good, the bad, and the ugly on it.

Very close to a CZ70 (which is the modernized version), .32acp pocket pistol, C&R, used to be available for around $100 but prices seem more towards $150 now (both before shipping). I tried one, didnt like the snappy recoil or how the squarish grip bit into the web of my hand with each shot, but if I could find one for $100 I'd get it just to have for my collection.

I got mine for $89 several years ago. In my area they aren't much more than that retail now.

I later bought a Manurhin/Walther PP and found it more polished than the CZ50, although the design is very similar. The magazines look like they'd almost interchange.

The double action stroke on the CZ is very heavy. I usually end up cocking the hammer rather than fighting the double action pull.
The CZ50 was quite accurate with Seller & Bellot .32 ACP ammo. If I remember right I shot better 50 foot groups with it than with my Smith M649 even though I shoot the 649 almost every time I go to the range.

I had trouble getting Winchester .32 ACP Silvertips to feed the first round from the magazine. After the first one fed there was usually no trouble with the rest.

I thought the CZ50 was a good gun for the money. I prefer the PP however and may sell the CZ.

Agree with ACP230. Bought two CZ50s and sold one about a year later. In terms of look, feel, and accuracy they can't compare with the Walther PP. But if you want a fairly cheap plinker then they are OK.

I had a CZ-70 which is almost the same gun.

It was very accurate and had a decent SA trigger but the DA trigger was way too heavy and racking the slide was a chore. I bought it as a gun for my wife to keep in her car but when I found out that she couldn't rack the slide and needed two fingers to pull the DA trigger, it became my plinker for a while. It never jammed and like I say, it was surprisingly accurate. I had no trouble hitting a plastic bottle cap at 10m with it. That is impressive for a small gun in my book. It was heavy and had an uncomfortable, boxy
grip but it was made very well for the money. All machined steel, should last a lifetime.

The CZ-50 is a C&R but the CZ-70 is not. That is why the CZ-50 costs a little more than the CZ-70.

What is your intent with this gun? Do you want it just as a car gun or a carry gun? I had mine in my glove box for a while until I traded it for a Charter Arms Off Duty .38 snubbie. The snubbie was a better gun for what I had in mind. Car/carry gun.
